Industrial enterprises provide a significant influx of investments into the city's economy - at the end of 2022, their investments amounted to 396.5 billion rubles, an increase in nominal terms by 73.6% compared to 2018. At the same time, the total figure for five years exceeded RUB 1.5 trln. Thanks to investments, industrial companies began to actively engage in their own development. This contributed to leveling the negative consequences of the imposition of sanctions, the emergence of new enterprises and the creation of jobs.

Operating enterprises can be assigned the status of an industrial complex, technology park, industrial park or priority investment project. Thanks to this, companies can receive benefits on property tax, income tax, land tax, rent payments and other preferences that can reduce the overall tax burden by up to 25%, depending on the status assigned.
