Moscow fixed capital investments increased by 2.4 times in 5 years

Over the past five years, investments in Moscow's fixed capital have grown 2.4 times.

From 2018 to 2022, investments in the Moscow economy grew 2.4 times in nominal terms and amounted to almost RUB 20.4 trln. The funds were directed to the development of transport, construction, manufacturing, scientific and IT spheres. Thanks to the growth of investments, the activities of companies and enterprises are expanding, new, including high-tech, jobs are emerging. In 2022, capital investors’ investments in the city’s economy amounted to more than RUB 5.9 trln, which is 2.2% more than a year earlier in comparable prices.

The city continues to work actively to support a favorable market environment and offers potential investors convenient development tools to mitigate the potential negative external economic impact, including the sanctions policy.
