Residents of SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" invested in the city's manufacturing industry

Microelectronics, medical technology, equipment and pharmaceutical companies became leaders.

According to the results of last year, almost 20% of investments in the fixed capital of the city's manufacturing industry fell on residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. They also created nearly 2,000 jobs, up 40% from 2021. Every year, more and more compact and modern factories appear in the city, manufacturing competitive products and products with a high intellectual component.

Every year, 10-15 production facilities are localized in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. Today, there are more than 200 enterprises in the territory of the special economic zone. Of these, 90 have resident status and receive tax benefits.

Among the leaders in 2022 in terms of investment by residents of the Moscow Special Economic Zone are companies operating in the microelectronics industry, as well as in the field of medical technologies, equipment and pharmaceuticals.

So, one of the manufacturers of microelectronic components, NM-Tech, invested RUB 13.9 bln last year, and the company Velfarm-M, whose plant was opened in early 2023, invested about RUB 2.4 bln.
