Since 2017, the city has signed six offset contracts involving the creation of three plants for the production of medicines, as well as enterprises for the production of medical products for patients with stoma, food for dairy kitchens and absorbent underwear.
The total investment in the implementation of these projects will amount to RUB 13.2 bn. The city will be providing companies with guaranteed purchase of products totaling RUB 84 bn for several years.
The three pharmaceutical factories will produce medicines by more than 50 international nonproprietary names. Within the framework of one of these offsets production is already working, and the city receives drugs for the treatment of 11 types of diseases.
Under a contract signed in 2019 with one of the companies, Moscow already receives medical products for people with stoma and provides them free of charge to citizens.
In 2023, the capital signed an offset contract for the purchase of absorbent underwear for adults. The investor will localize production in the city and provide at least 33 m diapers and 11 m swaddling cloth a year. The first deliveries are expected at the end of this year.
