The former industrial zone on Berezhkovskaya embankment will be reorganized

Within the framework of the project "Industrial quarters" will be reorganized the territory of the former industrial zone on Berezhkovskaya embankment with a total area of over 26 hectares. The implementation of the project will allow the city to get 12,5 thousand jobs. Investments in new sites in the west of Moscow will exceed 150 billion RUB, the expected budgetary effect - 4,3 billion rubles a year.

Here will be erected more than 660 thousand square meters of real estate.

Half of them will be for housing, the same amount will be occupied by non-residential construction: offices, retail facilities, high-tech production, kindergarten, school, as well as the temple complex. The project will be realized by 2029.

Technopark Kalibr

One of Moscow's leading technoparks is located at the territory of JSC Kalibr, a former major measuring instruments manufacturer, which celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2017. Since 2015, the plant territory was partially used to create a technopark of the same name "Kalibr", currently accommodating more than 50 companies. In total, over 200 companies are located at the site of JSC Kalibr. The priorities of the technopark development include additive technologies, unmanned transport and navigation technologies, telecommunication technologies, instrument manufacture and metalworking, medical research.
