NEWS

A FREE TRAINING SERVICE HAS APPEARED ON THE SUPPLIER PORTAL

The platform allows them to sell their products to government customers from 40 regions of Russia, who published 139.200 quotation sessions on the resource in January–September of this year alone. In order for each registered user to understand how to work on the platform, the “Supplier School” section is open in their personal account. Here you can get acquainted with the functionality in practice and independently test the entire scenario of participation in the procurement.

The training course provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the topic and gain practical experience. New users will be able to learn the functionality of the portal using system prompts at all stages.

IN 2023, THE REVENUE OF RESIDENTS OF THE TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW SEZ INCREASED 2.4 TIMES

Since the beginning of 2023, the volume of products sold by residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ has increased 2.4 times and exceeded RUB 77 bln. For the same period in 2022, this figure amounted to over RUB 31 bln. Among the leaders is the microelectronics industry, whose enterprises earned RUB 27.4 bln in the nine months of this year, which is 2.2 times more than during the same period in 2022. The capital's electronics industry is increasing its momentum in replacing foreign products and producing its own developments. In the first half of 2023 alone, the production of electronic and optical products in Moscow increased by 25 percent.

Among the leaders are the industry of microelectronics, information and communication, medical and biopharmaceutical technologies.

SERGEY SOBYANIN PRESENTED AN ANNUAL REPORT TO THE DEPUTIES OF THE MOSCOW CITY DUMA

Sergei Sobyanin addressed deputies of the Moscow City Duma and citizens with a report on the results of the activities of the Moscow Government for 2023. He spoke about the main achievements of the capital and outlined the main plans for the development of the city for the near future.

According to Sergei Sobyanin, in recent years Moscow has faced serious challenges: the coronavirus pandemic, a special military operation, sanctions pressure and, as a result, the restructuring of the entire city economy. But, despite all the trials, Moscow continues to actively develop thanks to the efforts of its residents.

MOSCOW LEADED THE RANKING OF BRICS+ CITIES BY HUMAN POTENTIAL

Experts assessed large cities on the development of science and technology, education, the labor market - almost 200 parameters in total. Moscow took first place in human potential among 100 BRICS+ megacities in the international City Human Potential Ranking. Experts assessed the BRICS countries and states that seek to join the organization on 197 indicators.

CITY COMPANIES INCREASED CLOTHING PRODUCTION OVER NINE MONTHS BY MORE THAN THREE TIMES

In Moscow, more than 250 enterprises produce clothing, shoes and accessories. Thus, over the nine months of 2023, clothing production in the capital increased by 218.1 percent compared to the same period in 2022. The growth was largely achieved due to the production of knitted and knitted products - their production increased by 348.5 percent.

MOSCOW PLANT PRODUCED MORE THAN 42 THOUSAND KILOMETERS OF CABLES IN 2023

Cable and wire products in the capital are manufactured by about 20 enterprises employing approximately 3.000 specialists. Companies regularly increase production capacity through the introduction of high-tech solutions and increase production volumes. Thus, one of the leading cable factories, Spetskabel, produced over 42.000 km of products in 2023, which is 24 percent higher than last year. Their length is enough to wrap around the Earth along the equator. The company produces special cables, cable assemblies and fire-resistant lines for various purposes, required in many industries.

"MOSCOW TECHNICAL SCHOOL" OPENED THE DIRECTION "ADVANCED CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGIES"

The Moscow government, leading educational organizations and companies of the city signed an agreement on cooperation in training personnel in the field of “Advanced chemical technologies” within the framework of the “Moscow Technical School” project. There will be such educational courses as “Technologies of small-scale chemical products”, “Polymer and composite materials”, “Highly pure substances for photonics and microelectronics” and “Materials for the aviation and space industry”.

"MOSCOW TECHNICAL SCHOOL" OPENED A SPECIAL DIRECTION "FOOD INDUSTRY TECHNOLOGY"

“Moscow Technical School” (“MTS”) has opened training in the special direction “Food Industry Technologies”.

Over 250 enterprises are engaged in food production in Moscow. They produce bakery and confectionery products, meat and dairy products, semi-finished products and other goods. Companies are increasing the volume of their products, improving their quality and expanding their range. The special direction “Food Industry Technologies” opened within the framework of ITS will allow specialists to gain in-depth knowledge and practice-oriented skills to develop their professional competencies and the Moscow food industry.

THE MOSCOW TECHNICAL SCHOOL HAS APPEARED A COURSE IN THE DIRECTION OF “ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGIES”

The Moscow Technical School (“MTS”), together with the National Research Technological University “MISIS”, has opened a distance course “Standardization of advanced production technologies” within the framework of the “Additive Technologies” direction. The course is designed for 16 academic hours and will be useful to employees of industrial enterprises in the nuclear industry, machine and shipbuilding, railway and road transport, as well as teachers of higher schools and secondary vocational education organizations.

THE CONDITIONS OF THE PROGRAM FOR STIMULATING THE CREATION OF PLACES OF LABOR HAVE CHANGED IN MOSCOW

The conditions of the program to stimulate the creation of employment opportunities (MPT) have changed. Now developers will be able to take warehouses into account when calculating the area of industrial industrial buildings and restore cultural heritage sites when reconstructing buildings under the program. The requirements for a bank guarantee will also change.

Now, when designing industrial and production facilities, developers will be able to take into account the area of warehouses if it does not exceed 25 percent of the entire declared area. Under the terms of the program, the investor's benefit is calculated based on the area of the facility in which jobs will appear. Previously, warehouses that were part of the real estate under construction were not taken into account when calculating the area of industrial MPT.

IN 2023, THE CITY ALLOCATED MORE THAN 156 HECTARES OF LAND FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF LARGE-MADE INVESTMENT PROJECTS

From January to December 2023, the city entered into 76 lease agreements for land plots with an area of 156.3 ha with developers and investors for the implementation of large-scale investment projects. Thus, new production facilities, educational institutions, sports complexes, commercial, transport and other facilities will appear in the capital. Their total area will exceed 1.5 mln m2. Industrial sites, educational institutions, sports complexes, commercial and transport facilities will appear on the sites.

AUCTION

THE CITY PUT OUT A LAND FOR COMMERCIAL FACILITIES IN ZELENOGRAD FOR AUDITION

The city will hold an auction for the lease of a land plot with an area of 2.300 m2 in Zelenograd. The winner will sign a contract for four years and 10 months. He will be able to build a store there with a total area of up to 2.000 m2. Individuals and legal entities are invited to participate in the auction. The application can be submitted until January 22, 2024.
