brief description of the project

The Northern Bypass for Kutuzovsky Prospekt will stretch from the Molodogvardeyskaya Transport Interchange to the Moscow City business center. The length of the main course of the road will be about 11 km. The toll highway will be a continuation of the highway Northern Bypass of the city of Odintsovo. It will run along the tracks of the first Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-1) through industrial zones, without affecting the Apple Orchard.

This road will become a new departure highway, which will make it more comfortable to enter the paid double of the M-1 Belarus highway and improve the transport accessibility of the Dorogomilovo, Fili-Davydkovo, Mozhaisky, Kuntsevo and Filevsky Park districts.

As part of the project, they will build:

  • exits from the Molodogvardeyskaya transport interchange to the outer and inner sides of the MKAD,
  • an almost two-kilometer overpass on the section from the MKAD to the stop point of the Rabochiy Posyolok of the MCD-1,
  • the overpass of the main course through Rublevskoe highway and railway tracks in the area of the Kuntsevo metro station,
  • overpass through Minskaya Street,
  • ten flyovers, including four exit overpass,
  • bridge over the Moskva River.

As part of the project, a part of Ivan Franko Street and the Rublevsky overpass near the Slavyansky Bulvar metro station will be reconstructed.

A multi-level transport interchange will be built at the intersection of the Northern Bypass for Kutuzovsky Prospekt, Shelepikhinskaya Embankment and the Third Transport Ring.

On the section along the railway tracks of the MCD-1 from the Shelepikhinskaya Embankment to the TTR, it is planned to build an exit from the Northern Bypass for Kutuzovsky Prospekt to the 1st Krasnogvardeysky Passage. This will ensure unhindered movement to the inner direction of the TTR and the entrance to the business center City through the 2nd Krasnogvardeysky Passage.

There will also be an exit from the TTR to the understudy. Thus, the passage to the Presnenskaya Embankment along the Botanical Garden will be organized.

For pedestrians, three underground passages will be built: in the area of the Fili station and the Rabochiy Posyolok of the MCD-1, as well as in the area of the Slavyansky Bulvar metro station and one aboveground – in the area of Polotskaya Street.
