The project envisages to use offset contract mechanism to localize a modern food production for children and nursing women in Moscow (milk, juices, fruit, vegetable, meat and meat puree, porridges, cottage cheese, kefir, sour-milk mixture and dry mixtures, which will be delivered to dairy distribution facilities)
An offset contract is a long-term government contract that guarantees the city's long-term demand, on the one part, and obliges an investing supplier to invest in the modern production plant, the products of which will be supplied under the concluded contract, on the other part.
The investments in production set-up are at least RUR 2.1 bn.
10 years (2020-2030).
The contract was concluded with Wimm-Bill-Dann as a result of the tender procedure in May 2020. The total contract price was RUR 30.6 bn. The contract intends to localize the production of 38 food SKUs in Moscow. The company is currently preparing the pre-project and design documentation.
