Trade turnover between Moscow and China increased by 16.4% in 2022

The external trade turnover between Moscow and China in 2022 increased by 16.4% compared to 2021.
China remains one of the main trading partners of Russia and Moscow in particular. In 2022, mutual trade between Moscow and China was actively developing, and at the end of the year its turnover amounted to $75 bln, which is 16.4% more than in 2021.
In 2022, China delivered $34 bln worth of products to the Moscow market. Basically, these are various electrical devices and communication equipment, such as cell phones, laptops and tablets, computer blocks and much more. In addition, food products were also actively supplied to the capital's market: fish and seafood, food additives, animal feed, vegetables, fruits and nuts.
Last year, Moscow actively developed supplies of both industrial and food products. In total, capital companies exported goods worth $41 bln. 
The city supplied the Chinese market with mechanical equipment, optics and instruments, medical equipment, and plastic products. Moscow companies also exported drinks, meat products, confectionery, ice cream and more to the country.
