Sergey Sobyanin increased subsidies for taxi and car sharing

The Moscow government has increased subsidies for taxi and car sharing companies. RUB 450 m were allocated for the implementation of the program of additional support for taxi companies and car sharing operators. The program, adopted in March 2022, provides for a doubling of the amount of subsidies to reimburse part of the cost of paying interest on loans and lease payments for the purchase of new taxi and car sharing vehicles. Additional support will allow taxi and car sharing operators to meet increased financial obligations to credit institutions and leasing companies.
