The project involves the reconstruction of the city clinical hospital No. 63 and the creation of the Moscow International Outpatient Cancer Center and the Center for Endovascular Surgery. The project is aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical care in Moscow in accordance with the highest modern medical standards.
As a result of the project, new jobs will be created, including for highly qualified medical personnel. Also, international training centers have been established within the institution to train and improve the skills of specialists in the “radiotherapy” profile.
Over 9 billion rubles, private investment
2013–2062
Moscow signed the first concession agreement in 2013 with the European Medical Center. The agreement is concluded for 49 years and involves the construction of the Moscow International Outpatient Oncology Center and the Center for Endovascular Surgery.
Currently, the first stage of construction of the Moscow International Outpatient Oncology Center has been completed. As part of the second stage, the In Vitro Fertilization Center, the Endovascular Surgery Center (post-infarction and post-stroke surgical care), the Ophthalmological Center for Complex Cases will be commissioned by 2025.
The volume of investments in the creation (reconstruction) of the concession object has amounted to more than RUB 9 bn. In accordance with the agreement, the creation of the facility is carried out in full from extra-budgetary sources, at the expense of the concessionaire's own and borrowed funds.
