At the end of 2021, Moscow rose to one place in the ranking of Russian regions in terms of the level of PPP development and again entered the top 3 list. The city consistently performing well in this area because of extensive experience in realization of PPP projects and active work in the field of development mechanisms of cooperation with business.

Practice of public-private partnership in Moscow every year gains momentum. At the moment, the aggregate volume of PPP contracts in the capital exceeds USD 1,1 trn. In the 2021 volume of PPP projects increased by more than USD 100 bn. Among the contracts signed are 52 life cycle contracts, several concessions, an offset contract, and a PPP agreement.
