Food exports to the Middle East increased 1.5 times

Food products worth $119.2 million were supplied by capital companies to the Middle East in 2021.

For many years the main trading partners of the capital have been Turkey, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel and Egypt.

The capital's sweets, such as waffles, are popular in the Middle East, last year they were delivered to the region for $3 million. The capital also actively exports various chocolate and flour products, carbonated drinks and muesli.
