The accumulated volume of investments from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union into the Moscow economy amounted to USD 2.8 bn. At the same time, USD 1.6 bn were put by investors from the Republic of Kazakhstan, USD 820 m were from the Republic of Belarus, USD 242 m were from Armenia, and USD 60 m were from Kyrgyzstan.
The turnover of Moscow's foreign trade with the EAEU countries amounted to USD 24.96 bn last year. This is 41.2% more than in 2020. Thus, Moscow's exports to the EAEU countries increased by 49% and reached USD 16.75 bn.
The Moscow’s volume of imports from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Kazakhstan increased by 27.7% over the year. In 2021, it amounted to USD 8.21 bn.
