Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced a plan of priority measures aimed at supporting the Moscow business in the case of sanctions. One of the measures involves the extension of offset contracts to all areas of urban economy: now the capital will sign it for the widest possible range of products necessary for state needs.

Offset contracts stipulate the delivery of goods to the customer, the creation, modernization or development of production of this product in the city. As part of the announced business support measures, land plots for the construction of such productions will be provided at a preferential rate of RUB 1.

Moscow was the first of the Russian regions to conclude offset contracts with investors. In total, the capital signed five offsets. The total volume of private investments in it is RUB 12.9 bn. Within the framework of the signed contracts, several investors have already completed the construction of factories and have begun to supply medicines and food for the city's dairy kitchens for the needs of the capital.
