Latest technologies and thousands of jobs: investor reorganizes Moscow industrial zone

The former industrial zone "Kaloshino" will be transformed into a modern industrial quarter with high-tech types of production under the program "Industrial quarters". Investments in the redevelopment of the territory with an area of 16.6 hectares will amount to almost RUB 22 bn.

“Another industrial quarter will appear in the east of Moscow. It will annually bring RUB 1.5 bn to the city budget. Enterprises, public and business facilities with 4,200 new work places will be built here.

The territory of the former industrial zone is located in Golyanovo between Ulitsa Biryusinka and 2-y Irtyshskiy Proyezd. It is planned to build more than 286,000 sq. m. of real estate on the territory.

Technopark Kalibr

One of Moscow's leading technoparks is located at the territory of JSC Kalibr, a former major measuring instruments manufacturer, which celebrated its 85th anniversary in 2017. Since 2015, the plant territory was partially used to create a technopark of the same name "Kalibr", currently accommodating more than 50 companies. In total, over 200 companies are located at the site of JSC Kalibr. The priorities of the technopark development include additive technologies, unmanned transport and navigation technologies, telecommunication technologies, instrument manufacture and metalworking, medical research.
