Moscow signed the first PPP-agreement on collection and processing of discarded electronics

The Moscow City Government and EcoTechProm, a member of the Ecopolis Corporation, signed an agreement on public-private partnership in the environmental sphere.

The project involves collection and processing of defective electronic and electrical equipment for its subsequent disposal. In the future, it will lead to a significant reduction in electronic and electrical equipment disposal costs for the city, and the enterprise will maximize its capacity to develop production.

The initiative to implement the project came to the capital's government at the beginning of 2021. IA EcoTechProm LLC proposed to carry out a full cycle of collection and recycling of the equipment, including plastic.
