In January, the total revenuer of the Moscow retail and service companies amounted to RUB 894 bn. Muscovites continued to actively make large purchases - primarily of household goods and appliances.
The retail revenue in computers and digital devices in Moscow amounted to RUB 7.3 bn in the first month of 2021 which is 28% higher than in January 2020. The retail revenue in consumer electronics, furniture and lighting fixtures increased by 68% up to RUB 31 bn.
