Packaging producer JSC Smerfit Kappa Moscow Union became the first company in the Russian capital which was awarded with the Moscow investor  status of the second category. This status entitles to an investment tax deduction.

In accordance with the Moscow law "On Investment Tax Deduction", companies with the Moscow investor status may apply for a reduced profit tax rate (category 1 - 12.5%, category 2 - 8%).
