In January, the industrial production in Moscow grew to 7,9 % in comparison to the same period last year.
The main growth driver was the development of the manufacturing industry. The output of finished metal products used for manufacturing building metal structures and frames increased most noticeably - by three times. The growth is explained by the implementation of a large-scale renovation program and a number of major infrastructure projects in the city.
