Construction of the Northern Bypass for Kutuzovsky Avenue
Project summary: the project provides for construction of a high-speed toll road 11 km long from the Moscow International Business Centre to Molodogvardeyskaya Traffic Interchange in order to reduce the traffic load on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, as well as a section of the Mozhayskoye Highway. The project will be implemented as a 40-year concession agreement. The concession fees to be received into the Moscow budget amount to RUB 70 m. The road will consist of at least 4 lanes and will have convenient exits to the Moscow Ring Road, Barklaya Street and Moscow City area. The design traffic speed will be at least 100 km/h. The road design and construction phases are expected to take 2 and 3 years, respectively. After that, the investor will operate the road on a toll basis for 35 years, charging the toll within the upper limit established by the city.
Financing volume (m RUB): 40,000.
Source of financing: Private investments.
Results (2015–2016): Preparation of the territory, project development.
Current status: a Concession agreement with OJSC New Concession Company (managed by Leader Management Company) was signed in December 2014.
